Services

Our veterinarians offer insightful recommendations on preventive care, which allows for early diagnosis to reduce your pet’s risk of contracting serious, costly and sometimes fatal diseases. By partnering with you to make sure your pet receives proper vaccinations, parasite control, good nutrition, behavior training and more, we can help your pet live a longer, healthier, happier life.

Bend Veterinary Clinic has diagnostic equipment and laboratory services to diagnose and treat medical conditions and illnesses that can develop in your pet. We are able to run bloodwork in our clinic, providing us with results quickly. We also work closely with veterinary laboratories that give us biopsies and/or other reports in a timely manner. We understand that it is difficult to have your pet not feeling well. We will do our best to get answers as fast as possible, so we can get your pet feeling better!

Our Clinic offers diagnosis with helpful technology like digital x-ray technology. Digital radiography constitutes one of the most exciting and esteemed advances in x-ray technology. With this leading-edge system, x-rays are available instantly for viewing, are taken with a significantly less amount of radiation, and allow for a better quality image which helps us help your pet as quickly as possible.

Healthy teeth and gums are one of the best healthcare gifts you can give your pet. It is important that you partner with your veterinarian on determining a good plan for maintaining your pet’s dental health.  We can help you develop a dental plan that is right for your pet, including professional dental cleanings, manage necessary extractions.  We can also help you manage a proper diet, pet nutrition and recommendations for a good at‐home dental care routine.

Periodontal disease can be prevented, treated and even reversed if caught early.  Together, you and your veterinarian can protect your pet against the dangers of periodontal disease, such as heart disease and kidney failure, by maintaining your pet’s dental health.

Our veterinarians, technicians and staff utilize many of the same safety measures as human hospitals. This includes pre‐surgery blood work to make sure your pet is healthy enough for surgery.

Depending on the urgent nature of the surgery, pre‐surgical concerns will be addressed, drug selections may be modified and sometimes surgeries need to be postponed or even canceled until our veterinarians and their team and you feel the surgery is safe to perform.

Once anesthesia is deemed safe for the patient, we use specialized monitoring equipment to track vital signs and pay close attention to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet.

Laser Therapy is an FDA-cleared treatment that reduces inflammation and results in pain reduction. Laser Therapy is effective in treating acute pain, chronic conditions, and post-operative pain. Laser therapy treatment is safe, painless and fast.

During our regular clinic hours of operation we offer emergency or urgent care treatment.
